Apple changes its mind; The feature that users have been waiting for is the iPhone 13

The Kovid Epidemic had made 2020 the Year of the Masks. But it is also the worst case scenario for those who have used Face ID security lock on their smartphones. Many people have to rely on their fingerprint sensor as unlocking the mask is a ritual. However, Apple phone users have no choice but to dial the PIN and unlock the lock. This is probably the most difficult time for users of newer models of phones.

But, there are indications that Apple is finally giving up.Bloomberg reports that Apple is preparing to bring back the old Touch‌AD from the iPhone 13. The old in-touch ID will be replaced by a new in-display fingerprint sensor. The report also states that the company is currently testing Iowa technology.

If this is true then expect a second generation Qualcomm ultrasonic fingerprint sensor with the next iPhone model. Qualcomm has developed a new sensor that is faster than the previous generation and safer than the optical sensor. Don't think that Apple will say goodbye to the big notch with the new fingerprint. The current face iD will be there. It's just that the in-display fingerprint is an added option.
