Microsoft has released the Surface Pro 7+ laptop with 4G SIM card slot

Microsoft released an updated version of its Surface Pro 7 laptop last year.  The new laptop is called the Surface Pro 7+.  It comes with the latest 11th generation Intel Core processor.  "Plus" does not mean that the Surface Pro 7 is a better model than last year's.  This laptop with LTE connectivity support can be used with a SIM card.

Using LTE with a SIM card is the only feature of an optional variant. If you do not need this feature you can choose the standard Wi-Fi edition in the lineup. The Surface Pro 7+ is presented without any major changes to its 2019 model. There are many similarities in the design as well. The ports and display bezels are the same. Another important thing is that the Surface Pro 7+ laptop does not have 5G support. Microsoft has provided a Qualcomm Snapdragon X20 LTE modem in this laptop.

The base model with Intel Core i3 processor is priced at $ 899. It will cost around Rs 66,000. The Wi-Fi and LTE editions come in the Intel Core i5 model, which starts at $ 1,149 (approximately Rs. 85,000). The Intel Core i7 variant with up to 32GB of RAM is priced at $ 2,799. This is about Rs 2 lakh. No information is available regarding the arrival of the Surface Pro 7+ in India.

The new Surface Pro 7+ is powered by 11th generation Intel Core chipsets. The laptop will be available in Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 options. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ has a 12.3-inch pixelSense display. This display also has a resolution of 2736x1824 pixels. This is the same display as the 2019 Surface Pro 7.

The Wi-Fi variants of the Surface Pro 7+ also come with a microSDX card reader. The LTE Edition has a slot for Nano SIM cards. Surface 2-in-1 has no Thunderbolt connectivity. SSD storage is up to 1TB. These laptops have up to 32GB of RAM. The laptop will go on sale on January 15 in markets including the US.
