Vivo launches new device in Y series in India The Vivo Y5A smartphone has been launched. The features of this mid-range device are similar to the Vivo Y51 smartphone launched last month. The handset is available in single storage and two color options. The device features a large battery, a Snapdragon 662 chipset and a triple rear camera setup.
The Vivo Y51A smartphone will be available in a single variant with GB RAM and 128 GB storage option.The device will be available through Vivo India e-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tataclick and offline retail stores. The smartphone is priced at Rs 17,990 in India. The smartphone will be available in Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony color options.
Buyers of the Vivo Y51A smartphone will also get a number of offers. HDFC Bank credit and debit card buyers will get 1,000 cashback and zero down payment EMI offers when using Bajaj FinServe, Home Credit and IDFC First Bank cards.
The Vivo Y51A has a 6.58-inch Full HD + LCD IPS display. This display has a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. A water drop-style notch is also provided on the display. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. The device has 128GB of internal storage and can expand up to 1TB of storage via a microSD card slot.
Another key feature of the Vivo Y51A smartphone is the 5,000 mAh battery. The device also has 18W fast charging support. The smartphone runs on Android 11 based custom UI Fontouch OS 11. Connectivity options include 4G Volt, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz / 5.0GHz), GPS, dual SIM, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port.
The Vivo Y51A comes with a 48MP primary lens with f / 1.79 aperture, an 8MP wide angle lens with f / 2.2 aperture and a 2MP sensor. The device also comes with a 16MP camera for selfies and videos. The fingerprint sensor is located on the right side of the smartphone.
