The Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event, which is expected to feature the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, will take place today at 10:00 am EST (8:30 pm IST).It will be streamed live on Samsung Newsroom, Samsung.com websites and YouTube. The company will hold a Galaxy India Unpacked event at 8 pm, especially for Indian customers. This will include announcements that will be made in India.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series in India has not been revealed yet. Recent reports suggest that the standard Galaxy S21 will start at à´¯ൂà´±ോ 849 (approximately Rs. 75,600). The Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra start at 1, 1,049 (approximately Rs. 93,400) and 1, 1,399 (approximately Rs. 1,24,600). Samsung says the Galaxy S21 series will come in multiple color options and will feature a punch-hole display design. This handset series will be either the Exynos 2100 SoC processor in the global market or the Snapdragon 888 SoC processor in the US. The Galaxy S21 has a 6.2-inch Full HD + (1,080x2,400 pixels) dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with an Infinity-O display of 421 pp pixel density. The Galaxy S21 + handset is said to have similar features. It has a screen size of 6.7 inches and a pixel density of 394 ppi. The Galaxy S21 Ultra has a 6.8-inch (1,440x3,200 pixels) dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display with 515 pixel pixel density.
The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + come with a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, an ultra wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel tertiary sensor and a wide-angle lens. However, the Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary camera sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor and two sensors with a 10-megapixel resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + are expected to have a 10-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front. The Galaxy S21 Ultra has a 40 megapixel selfie camera. Samsung says it will also support the S Pen on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The phone can have up to three different finishes to give users a premium design. The Galaxy S21 is rumored to come with a 4,000 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 + handset will get a 4,800mAh battery and the Galaxy S21 Ultra will get a 5,000mAh battery.
